The most important thing is to be sure the fan is moving at a consistent fast speed when the heater is on!
- Turn off the circuit breaker for the heater before doing any cleaning or maintenance.
- Heaters should be cleaned and inspected every year to prevent any dust or lint accumulation on the fan. To clean you should remove the front grill cover and vacuum it out or use compressed air to clean it out.
- You can then clean the front grill cover with a damp rag. Dry the grill cover before putting it back on.
- Once these components have been cleaned, turn the circuit breaker back on. Then turn the thermostat on to be sure the fan motor is moving at a consistent fast speed.
